In this season of giving thanks, we are reminded of the things we are grateful for. For each of us, that includes you. We are not only grateful for what you do each day for our patients and for each other but also for how you do it – with empathy, an eagerness to collaborate, and a desire to drive positive outcomes.

Whether you realize it or not, your actions embody Fresenius Medical Care’s recently refreshed core values.

To help make this connection between our core values and the way that we work even stronger, we are introducing a new recognition program throughout California: Care. Connect. Commit. Pass it on.  It’s a fun way to bring our values to life and let your colleagues know you appreciate them.

It’s simple: Fill out a We Care, We Connect, or We Commit postcard describing how your colleague demonstrates that core value. Your manager will collect the cards and recipients will receive them during center huddles.

It’s fun: Recipients can post their cards to their lockers if they wish and are encouraged to “pass it on” by filling out a card for a colleague and keeping the recognition chain going. Centers can choose additional ways to celebrate our values and each other.

It’s meaningful: When we care, connect, and commit, we bring out the very best in each other and provide exceptional care for our patients.

Together, we can achieve our vision of creating a future worth living for patients every day.
